Quick--hum the Star Wars opening score, the title track to Gone with the Wind or replay “Chariots of Fire” to the slo mo scene in your head. Piece of Cake, right? We certainly can’t take credit for those snippets of film history, but we at Prototype: certainly understand the impact of a well-crafted tune or a stunning special effect in a film.
With our own in-house studio, we’ve fashioned both the score and the post production work for several movies, which have all gone on to major distributors including Lions Gate and The Sci-Fi Network. Our music and visual effects have spread through this medium both nationally and internationally. Our very own in-house audio ninja, Todd Allen, combines state-of-the-art sound equipment with unique instruments (“On the count of three… hit this gong!) to assemble his ensemble of essential sounds. The result: creepy title tracks to horror flicks and light-hearted beats for commercial work. Now that’s music to our ears!
