Martinsville Speedway wanted a complete new look for their national TV spots that would move away from the traditional race spots that were used throughout their industry. The emphasis of this spot was to promote reduced ticket prices and emphasize that a Martinsville race was affordable family entertainment for their fans in a difficult economic climate. History and traditions pulse through the tracks at Martinsville Speedway. As one of the only short tracks in NASCAR, they are known not only for their tradition, but for their hard-hitting racing.

Prototype’s goal was to highlight Clay Campbell, the track’s President, who is an icon in the sport and to promote their exciting race footage with many action shots and a music score to support that footage. Not only was this a fun spot to produce, but it has proven to be one of the most successful spots to date for Martinsville Speedway.
