Our genesis at Prototype: can be traced to the booth of a local watering hole in 2002 and mentions of a man known only as the “Godfather”. That’s putting it simply. Truth is, our roots were formed much earlier in attics, basements and cubicles by folks who wanted to grow something fresh against-the-grain. No last names. No pedigree. No traditional processes. and founders, Todd Allen and Josh Oppenheimer, chose Central Virginia as the place to plant those seeds.

At our core Prototype: is a creative, fullservice ad shop. Our focus is to develop, design and deliver strategies that grow the bottom line of those who partner with us. In addition, we have also created and maintained a publishing group, IT and network solutions team, as well as our own products.

Our family has dozens of members located in three offices in two states, Virginia and Texas. Our reach even expands internationally. Though our client base reaches far beyond our borders, you will discover that the Prototype: team serves locally in the community and those of our partners.
